Skyview CX Classic A Success

Bike Bash Awards are Saturday!

Free food and beer at the bike bash! If you're a racer, support a racer, or just considering racing in the future, come on out the Platte River State Park Saturday night 6pm to get a taste of the vibe. Spaghetti feed at 6pm, awards start at 7pm. More details here

EVCC Season End Party and Meeting

The 2009 Elkhorn Valley Cycling Club Season EndParty and Meeting will be held Friday night, October 23 at TJ's Sports Bar in the N-Zone starting at 6:30PM. After social time and dinner, we will hold an awards ceremony for the Norfolk Race Series, and have a club meeting and planning session.

Anyone who has participated in any EVCC events, has any interest in the Club or cycling, or is a current or past member, is invited to attend. Spouses and guests are welcome as well.

Skyview CX Classic

The inaugural Skyview Cyclocross Classic is Saturday October 24! The event will be held at Skyview Park in Norfolk and should be a fantastic event, and the first CX race to be held in Norfolk, ever.

Potter's Pasture

Several members of the club took a mini trip this week for a couple days of mountain biking at the famous Potter's Pasture south of Brady, Nebraska. Dan Schuldt hosted Dan Spray, Todd Jochum, and I at his family's summer house on Jeffrey Lake, which happens to be five miles from Potter's.

Over the course of the two days we put in about 40 miles of riding on trails ranging from fast and rolling along ridge lines and canyon rims
