Psycowpath Returns to Norfolk at the Maskenthine XC Classic

The Maskenthine XC Classic, part of the Nebraska Lottery Psycowpath Series, is set for June 14, 2009. The trails at Maskenthine Lake, located just off Highway 275 near Stanton, are in prime shape having been groomed recently by the maintenance crew. The course should be fast and the racing furious!

Junior racers should expect to complete 1 lap. Category 3 racers should be ready for 2 laps, Cat 2 racers 3 laps, and Cat 1 racers 5 with women racers in each category doing one less lap. Once again riders will start the race up the long gravel approach to the singletrack but this year the finish line will be in the trees setting up for an uphill finish.

Riders coming to the Norfolk for the Norfolk Classic Cycling Weekend can preview the Maskenthine Lake MTB trails.
